Celebrate the apple harvest on this unique cider tour to experience 4 cideries between Halifax and the Annapolis Valley. Learn about our cider industry from orchard to glass and enjoy lunch at Maritime Express.

 

Stops include: Chain Yard Cider to . After a scenic drive into the Annapolis Valley, we'll visit Maritime Express for a cider tasting and lunch in their former railway hotel. After lunch we'll make a stop to Noggins Farm to visit one of their orchards to learn about and taste different apple varieties plus pick some apples to take home. Last, we'll end the day with a final tour and tasting of vinous ciders at Beausoleil Cidery and Winery.

Cideries visited include:

​

Chain Yard Urban Cidery - Halifax's first cidery dedicated to making approachable, unique and traditional ciders from 100% NS apples. Start your day with a tour and tasting along with some perfectly paired snacks.

​

Maritime Express - enjoy a cider tasting and lunch in their former iconic railway hotel.

​

Noggins Farm - set on a 250 year old orchard and farm, we'll visit one of their orchards to learn about and taste different apple varieties, ciders plus pick some apples to take home.

​

Beausoleil Cidery and Winery- Nova Scotia's first vinous cidery creating unique tastes from the Annapolis Valley. Here, we'll end the day with a final tour and tasting.

Tour Information

Lunch: 

Lunch will be served at Maritime Express. On rare occasions we may change the lunch venue without notice.

​

Tour Includes: all transportation, a fun & professional tour guide, tour and tasting fees at 4 unique cideries.  Lunch with wine/cider and server gratuities.

​

Tour groups will be sat at the same table for lunch. 

​

The Fine Print:

Payment is required when a reservation is made. Based on availability. Public tours operate with a minimum of 4 people. Credit card information is required at the time of booking. Tours cancelled or modified within 1 week of tour departure are 100% non-refundable. To reserve this tour for a private group, a minimum of 10 people is required.
